Kate Sequeira is a journalism resident at EdSource based in Los Angeles, covering Los Angeles Unified. She previously worked at inewsource in San Diego as a general assignment reporter and web/social media producer and at the Los Angeles Times as a production specialist, overseeing the Reading by 9 literacy initiative. Kate graduated from the University of Southern California with degrees in journalism and contemporary Latino and Latin American studies.
